Can someone explain to me how the popular photos section actually works? When someone clicks on a green thumb, does that put it in the popular photo line-up? Are they actually in order of how many times a green thumb has been clicked?

ElaineWhen they are clicked, they'll appear in your popular photos section. You can choose how many you wish to dispay, as you've seen (you display only 6). But you can see them all, here: http://e-heasley.smugmug.com/popular/

PhotoRank = popularity

http://krazykevin.smugmug.com/img/thumbs-up.png You can increase a photo's rank by moving your mouse over it and clicking the thumbs-up symbol that appears. You can cast one vote per photo.

http://krazykevin.smugmug.com/img/star-big.png You can also rate a photo or gallery with stars when you leave a comment (http://krazykevin.smugmug.com/help/photo-sharing-comments).
There are other factors...like time. Photos from events past will usually be less popular than recent ones.
