Hey BTW - found out I'm going to be up in your neck of the woods this summer. My daughters going to be a flower girl in a wedding in SC in June and we are going to Gatlinburg for a few days prior. I can't wait to get some pictures of the country up there- first trip since I have had a dslr.

Great shots George. I love the angle on the first one and the contrast between the sky and the church on the third one.

I really enjoy this image. Do you care to share the technique for this one? I particularly like how you captured the detail with a soft focus. The light and color is fabulous. Well done.

thanks for the comment-
added a layer that's heavy on the gaussian blur then used the blending mode drop down and used multiply, then the opacity slider to taste-

It's a cool effect, something ominous about it. I like it. I also like the second shot. I think it works better than the crop you posted in another thread.
