You guessed it! More horse show pictures. I recently uploaded these even though they're from spring 2006. I had gone just to try out my then new camera, but some riders/parents contacted me saying that no show photographer took pictures that day and could I please offer mine.

These were all with the D50 and the Nikkor 70-300 f4-5.6 (it's a happy lens in good light).

You did a great job. I do some close crops, but dont forget to keep the jumps in the side shots too.

I have a bunch more and most of these that I posted are crops. Unlike jumpers, hunters have the most awful boring jumps. The riders actually prefered these closer crops. (I was a bit surprised as generally speaking the normal horse show jumping pictures aren't nearly as close.) They're all 'A' circuit junior amatuers and this is the 3'6" class. I guess if they've seen one regular horse with a 12' wide jump and two 3' wide wing standards they've seen them all.

Lovely job. Very nice horses! That always makes it easier, doesn't it!!!
