It's been a while since I've posted a picture here. Been really busy as usual but I'd like to try this one out on y'all.

It's a modified Orton technique on a shot that already had pretty nice, soft light.

Olympus E1, Asahi Pentax 200mm f4 prime thread mount with 4/3 mount adapter and Olympus 1.4 teleconverter.

Bob,

I like the way the briches seem to glow. It's pretty amazing. But I think the soft focus effect is a bit overdone for my taste.

Your title trigrred a very distant memory for me.

When I was 8 I've spend a month at a scout camp in Beskidy (mountain region in south of Poland) Our camp was located not far from a Birch forest with a difference. The trees grew on soil rich in phosphor and at night they were literally glowing. It was ghostly, a bit scary and fascinating.
