Hey Andy! (And/or other wonderful help desk people)

I just sold a 11x14 of an image that is just a bit off. It was actually taken during warm-up at a show and was originally posted to be sold as a stock image for the show association. The rider's mother really likes the picture though. I was wondering if one of you could run it through the auto color before I hit "ship it" so I'd know what it's going to look like.

(I want to get the photoshop plug-in that their offering us, but does it do the same thing? I'm going to run over and reread the thread to see if that question is already answered!)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Side by side, yours on the left, auto on the right:

Geee, that is nicer! :lust

Also, I posted this in the actual i2e Flea Market thread, so please if you respond feel free to respond there. Maybe someone else is as confused as me. :)

Okay, so I know this question has technically been answered, but I seem to be a bit thick.

Which version should I get?

I was rereading the thread and I'm woefully uneducated about in computer post processing. But, it looks like I'd be better off with the stand alone standard version with RAW, right? Nix the PS plug in? Or is the Pro version what I should go for?

I'd want to batch edit from around 300-1000 at a time. Maybe RAW. Then, I'm guessing I'd run them, as RAW files through i2e. NOT thru ACR???? And, use Andy's magic settings?

Sorry. :rolleyes

All I've been able to figure out is the i2e PS plug-in does not do the same thing as auto color.

Only one question: what do I need to do on my computer to be able to see what Auto color would do without ordering a print?

I used the i2e plug in for PS on those basketball photos, and what I saw made me choose true color on that order because it looked nothing like what you showed me in my thread about the print issues (it looked quite bad to be honest...very clearly something auto that can't tell that there are some areas I want darker than others). What you showed me as the changes auto color would make looked good, what the i2e PS plug-in did on my computer looked not so good.

Get the regular version, it's more powerful than the PS plugin. Also, I can't know how your PS settings may have affected it....

Seems closer but still not the same. You guys should talk to them about making a version that doesn't output images. The only use I have for this software is to see what printing with auto selected would do.

You can write them too, Richard :evil
