Today I came across a group of people promoting an upcoming visit of Dalai Lama to Australia. Authentic Tibetans (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/v/People/Tibetan/Tibetan-man-IMG_20070214_6729.jpg.html)in authentic folklore based outfits. They were a bit shy and obviously a bit overwhelmed by the attention but agreed to pose for a few portraits, for which I am very greatful.
Dalai Lama will visit Australia in June / July 2007 and will conduct many conferences in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

I'm a bit surprised with luke warm response to this image as indeed there are few photographs of Tibetans in their traditional costumes.
