I just came over form the Chromeheads Forum and also see a few MOA members here.
This is my first post and it looks like a good place for me to hang out.
Like Kbasa/Dave, I use an ELPH S400 for most of my photos, whether from my BMW R1200 CLC, or not. I hope to get as good at the riding shots as Dave is, some day.
Nice to be here.

Welcome to the mini asylum. This forum isn't crazy yet, but it has potential.

Welcome, helliott... got any pics you like that you'd like to post? I like your camera a lot... keep thinking about buying one... or maybe the S50.

Just got the word over on the NEDoD list and hrried over to join. You can see some of us at the 03 July 31 Boston Triathlon (http://www.iisc.com/Triath030831Web/) doing escort duty. Not my best dig work but covers bikes and cams http://www.dgrin.com./images/smilies/icon10.gif

I never thought about trying to shoot with a helmet on. It could be a bit of a problem.

Man, I always wondered how the guys on the backs of motorcycles do it... I would woof. I'm in awe of the Tour De France shooters and bike pilots... the shooters are brave contortionists and the pilots have to handle such slow speeds and crowded conditions - all the time worrying about messing up the race.

She was about 1 mile from the finish, but yes the mental jarring was the reason for the shot. This was with the 100-400 IS on the DCS520
Doh!
