My first thought was, "dude you need to clean your sensor".
Oh, those are birds..... Where'd the sky go?:scratch
Great image.

I expected that reaction. Glad you took the bait. Thanks for looking.

OK, so I took a decidely different approach to my trip than Joel, William or Russ, focusing more on the area's derelict, abandoned, former resort town glory, than on the wildlife. I was never quite as good a "birder" as those guys but I do have a few up my sleeve and will post them as well.
Here's a couple more:

I am no 'birder' either, reason I wasn't interested in making the trip up there. Now seeing your photos, I am. I love shooting old abandoned buildings.
Some very nice shots you have- look forward to seeing more.:thumb
Thanks for showing another perspective! :D

Angelo, these and the rest of your shots in your gallery are great! :clap:clap:clap
You really captured the lonely and deserted desolation of the area in a way that I could never do. You have a great eye for this type of photography.
Keep 'em coming!!! :barb

Excellent Angelo. Needless to say I love the water shot through the haze, but mine didn't come out well enough to post. Your other images are also great, especially the old motel; I stayed in room 111, which was your room? I'm ready to go out again, let me know when. :thumb :thumb
