I have one, but am not at the current time interested in selling, but just wanted you to know that you won't regret your decision!

Thanks for the reply. If I can't buy one here I will buy from Beach Camera on Tuesday. I have Canon rebel XT also. I hears people with the XTI are haveing several problems with their XTI under exposure. I know people that are staying with the XT for now until Canon come out with some new firmware.

I don't think the XTi is that much an improvement over the XT enough to warrant upgrading for you yet either.

XT owners should just wait for the 40D.
Ever since I've seen this post...I'm been researching the lens. Seems like a great range with a constant apeture. I'd consider it if I could sell off my Tamron 17-35 and 24-135. Then all I'd have to break the bank for is the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS, 70-200 4L or 70-300 IS.
I hope you get your lens. peace out!

dupont, not promising anything, but could you give me a week before you give up? I'm interested in shifting some lenses, but can't make my decision! I'm the worst at making decisions....I just know I need to do some lens shifting pretty fast because my trip is in less than two months and I want the new lens(es) by then...
