Three lenses costing from £15/$28 to £250/$440 pics taken with canon 350d no changes to camera beetween shots at ISO 200 AV priority same arpeture on lenses- F8

so the three lenses are

The Sigma 28mm EX DG 1:1.8
Hanimex wide angle 28mm F2.8
Sigma 18-200mm DC 1:3.5-6.3

and here is the test pic, list your favourite shot and which lens you think matches wich pic?

any particular reason the exposure is different on them?

Based on the minimum Aperature? - that'd give away which pic goes with which camera... 1.8, 2.8, and 3.5?...

In terms of sharpness, I'd rate them: 1,3,2.

This test would be better shot in manual rather than aperture priority, to ensure that nothing changed in the camera.

Hmm yeh I thought of that after!

they were all shot at F8!? I was confused to be honest and am struggling a little with the results!

Nope! would of been my guess though in fairness.

this is why I posted because my test results confused me! If someone can suggest a better test to do then please do because

1 is the sigma 28mm
2 is the hanimex
3 is the Zoom

??

EDIT oops just noticed wxwax post that may help for a better test! any suggestions for what I should set things at in an ideal test?

I think I like #3 the best. While a little dark it is not blown out and you can see detail in the snow in the foreground.

Yes, that was my guess. On the larger size, 1 was the sharpest, so I figured it was the sigma prime. 3 was the next sharpest, so the zoom. 2 had some major chromic aberration and was the softest, hence the cheapest.
