Categories and subcategories

Can you only do this when adding a gallery? I have already loaded several galleries and do not want to have to start over in order to do categories and subcategories.

Hi,

You are in luck :) If you need to create custom categories and subcategories, go into your control panel, scroll down to category and/or subcategory and create your custom ones. If you are going to use the default ones already available, that's fine, too.

Then go to one of your galleries, and underneath a photo click on gallery tools, then customize gallery. On the customize page that follows, at the top, pick your category and/or subcategory and then click save. Those galleries are now automagically in the new category.
