ok...i'm experiencing some frustration and hoping i can find help here. i currently have a box-stock smugmug page at

www.dapixa.com (http://www.dapixa.com)

and would like to customize. i particularly like the layout of the site for moon river photography, so i found the section in ivar's faq that says how to do it. the first thing it says is if you don't know how to do the banner, go to that tutorial. i did, and 2 hours later still didn't have a banner.

right off the bat, the instructions for how to identify the url aren't making sense. i believe it's because with the new flyout photo info, the links, etc. don't show up below the image you want to use. so, i tried every permutation i could think of to identify the url manually. no luck.

can anyone help?

The "Share" button, above your images, is your friend. Click thta, and you'll get the link.

Follow Andy's instructions for how to find the link to your photo and see if you can go ahead and get your banner up. If you have any problems, holler back! And welcome to DGrin :)

ok, tried that...no luck.

i used the share button and got a dialog for emailing an image. it says it will add the url at the end, but that didn't show up in the preview, so i sent it to myself. all i got was an email with the picture in it.

what am i missing? :scratch

wp.You are missing the link, just next to the words email, at the top, for "forums, blogs, etc" -- click on that ONCE and we'll remember your preference.
