my wife rocks. i've been away 12 of the last 14 days, and whilst she bitches and moans when i'm away (andy, i had to shovel 10" of snow today.... andy, i had to take out the trash myself today.... yadda yadda freakin' yadda!), she really is the best woman in the whole world. despite the fact that i sometimes go away for a long time, she's always happy when i return (shovelin? trash? :dunno) anyhow, this morning, i was treated to a lovely breakfast ... she does this about once every cuppla months...

sconset eggs, canadian bacon, and a bagel. if you don't know about sconset eggs, well they're fantastic. your basic scrambled egg recipe, and as you're cooking them, you add little bits of philly cream cheese, and some scottish smoked salmon (nova scotia lox will do also, as will smoked trout :D)
