Looking for some constructive criticsm here.... as these just don't do what I want them to do.

What were you looking to convey?

Both contrast US construction technique and demonstrate that
equipment differences don't always result in less ambitious projects.

In the first one, I might have tried to include more of the crew
or of the path it looks like they're walking up. Maybe more of
where they're working? What I see in the shots are the contrasting
construction techniques (between US).

The second is probably a tougher shot. Rather than look up, I would
prefer to be at the same level or at least higher.
