Mike, this board has grown so fast that I can't keep up with all the posts anymore - stuff disappears from the first few pages in a flash - best thing to do is just bump it if you really want a comment.
This is a very nice shot and I'm fairly jealous you were able to go to such a beautiful spot. Nice job:thumb

:lol3
Sometimes you need to nudge your thread. Adding a bit of new content is always a good thing.
I like the shot. But I do feel a visual disconnect between the sky, the mountains and the rest of it. It's not the composition. I think the tone of the sky doesn't match the tone of the mountains. It's like the mountains are too bright. Could just be me. :dunno I know this isn't the Whpping Post, hope you don't mind my opinion.

Sometimes it helps if you comment on other images, you scratch mine I'll scratch yours, ya know. The more you comment on others, the more they are willing to comment on yours. I like this community, but I also post on 3 other forums, so it's hard to keep up with that many. What bothers me, is when you consistently comment on someone else's work but they totally ignore your posts, now that bugs :tough
Excellent image by the way :thumb

Thanks everybody.
I've been bored lately and I went to much on CS2 :rolleyes .
I'll try to reply on other posts too. It's hard to type because I had a stroke about 3 months aso, so it takes a long time to "speak" and type.
Mike,
Here's a shot of Mirror Lake taken in Dec. 06. looks like from a similar location, but different focal length.

Mike!
I missed this when I originally read the thread. I hope your recovery is going well. I took care of my mom many years ago after she had a stroke, and through effort and time she was able to gain back a lot of what was initially lost, so keep working on it! :thumb
