Name and Copyrights on Pics... Yes or No.

I noticed that some people put names and copyright info on pics... Is this something I should do? Does it make a difference? If I put my name and copyright on my pic couldn't someone crop it out? What should I do?

They well could crop it but its always your photo legally. They wont be able to print it as its a crappy resolution if they dont have your original to copy. You can turn your 'originals' off in Smugmug settings. I am about to buy some better gear & start photographing at all my local race meetings & then as i will have a reg'd company i am able to sell them without getting the tax man upset. I dont know about other countries laws.
