hi - i'm setting the "your background color" option to light in my customization page, but I'm still seeing a black background on my page. Any thoughts on this? I don't have any css setting the BG color & I'm using one of the standard SM themes (even "classic" shows the same behavior).

That's not actually for setting your background color. It's for setting the images that go on top of your background, and it's letting smugmug know if it's a light or dark color, so that the images (icons and stuff) don't get lost.

Really? I thought it was overall, since it set the BG on galleries, just not the main page. So I just need to set it via css then?

Well, I shouldn't speak too soon. My site is customized, and that's how it works on my site. Yours is different, so I suppose the behavior of that setting could work differently.
