I have come across a mint Nikon F5 with 50mm AFD f1.4 here in Darwin for AUS$595, about US$460.

Unfortunately, I only want the 50mm, but the guy will not separte.

From what I have seen....$450-$500USD.

I agree with Jim. That is a good deal. If you can find a buyer, you should have no problems finding that F5 a good home.

I will probably go for it and maybe keep the F5 as well.

I do miss shooting with Fujicrome 50 Velvia and I will have true 17mm on my 17-35 AFS.
