Is the mouse up for a re-shoot? :ear
I'd narrow up the space between the images and maybe tone down the drop shadow under the images.

...Oh, and when the mouse does come available again, TRUST ME, you don't want to be around!!! (I had serveral snakes, and boy do they STINK!!!)
I really like this idea. The only thing that bugs me is the motion blur. Is he on weekly or bi-weekly feedings? Can you shoot again before the challenge is up? Beautiful snake, BTW!

It's a good idea, if you do a reshoot could you put a solid color under his cage? Like a tan towel to look like sand.

Thanks for the tips guys/gals.
I thought the motion blur added to his excitment to get to the mouse.
This was not a planned shoot. This is just his feed tank which is just pulled out and set in the kitchen floor at feed time. My wife had started feeding him before I decided to shoot him. So the background was not able to be changed, once he starts feeding we cant move him because it would startle him and he would stop eating. I thought about trying to PS it to something better but.....
He is on a biweekly. I am not sure I can get another feeding in.
Thanks for the tips, I may just have to go with something completely differant.
