It was yet another sunset in our beautiful (and later - record cold) SoCal.

The tree in front of me created a fine silhouette that reminded me of the Japaneese art I've seen here and there.

Anyway - I thought I'd share:

OTO: I was watchingt the rerun of Maverick (1984, the one with your felow Aussie Mel Gibson:-) today, and guess what: one of the first scenes was shot at the Lake Powel, next to the dam... I was so thrilled to see the familiar rock formations :-)

Beautiful...it's why my step-son moved from Texas to So. Cal...he loved the weather the first time he went there.

Yes, the weather is *usually* great here. It's just the whole globe seem to have quite an unusual winter: too warm in Russia, too cold in SoCal... :dunno
