on a monopod the Sigma Bigma surprised me
we were taking turns w/ the 80-400, thinking the bigma, on such a cloudy day, would be a liability

I'm sitting here chuckling to myself because my computer started to load these shots so slowly that I thought the first image was going to be a Squirrel :rofl but it's a Lioness :rolleyes
Love the one with the mother and cub both looking toward you :clap

I agree these are great and I LOVE lions (as I've said on here before). There is a tad bit of noise, not much at all! What ISO were you using?
Great job and that little cub throwing and attitude is great, but the first shot is awesome :thumb

on the d200 anthing below 640 is fine even for a small crop (these were not cropped very much or at all)
