Some days are better than others:
today's slim pickings just cannot compare to the bounty of last sunday,
but who am I to complain, there's always a brighter day a coming.

Spent most of the afternoon at the "basin" waiting in vain for some action, any action. After calling it a day I came across this hawk sitting in a tree next to the freeway onramp. I guess he (or she) was waiting for some action too.
