hi nice work:thumb it looks hard to shoot . i shot some c awr partys in miss. for cherity auctions it was a lot of fun. lot of good folks. shots. rick. :D

Nice detail, how big is this piece of Art ??
Is this a carving as in Wood? or a cast ?
I don't understand how such talented people take the thought and create these magnificent masterpieces, I will always be in awe of people who can do this .......thanks for sharing...... Skippy

This is currently location at the National Gallery orf Art in Washington, D.C.

Patinated plaster where the surface has paint, gold and brass leaf, synthetic resins, and waxes:
without armature or pedestal: 368.94 x 524.51 x 86.36 cm (145 1/4 x 206 1/2 x 34 in.)
with armature & pedestal: 419.1 x 524.51 x 109.22 cm (165 x 206 1/2 x 43 in.)
