I'm working on a logo for my photography.

I don't like it yet.

But I'm not sure what to do yet. I'm going to let it sit for a while, so I can just think about it.

While I'm deciding what I think, I'd love to hear what YOU think.

All feedback/critique/comments welcome. Wanted, actually. :D

Thanks!

I'm actually working towards a business card sized brochure. A teeny-tiny 3-fold brochure. I got the idea from bamagazine.com, which was linked in another thread.

I've got a mock-up of one side. I hope you can envision it.

The far right is the front. The middle panel would be the back of the card. The left panel would be folded inside. I still have to design the inside.

So, this thing is 3.5 inches high. Each panel is 2" across, except for the left panel, which is 1/16" narrower, so that it will fold inside the others.

The pictures are not final. They're just there to hold the space for now. As is the text, I'm not sure what I'm going to say. It's slow going. :D

Great, what color code are you using for your site at the top with the links.
I may want to try that color on my site.

Photoshop. Probably better in Illustrator, or In Design, or something. But I'm getting by in Photoshop.

Hey, go find your own color! :D

Actually, SG, you'll be much better served if you find out for yourself how to figure out what that color is. If you need help, ask for it.

Open Photoshop.
Grab eyedropper tool.
Open a photo (any photo).
Drag dropper from photo to a webpage (any webpage).
Let go of the mouse.
Now that color is in your color picker.

:rofl But that's what Andy's here for. :D

The logo & card look great, I wouldn't change anything on the design or layout.

Thanks!

I decided that I WOULD change some things about the layout, and posted them in the business card thread. This started out as just the logo and then morphed into a business card, so I put it there.
