I have finally made the jump and now need to sell my Nikon gear.

All items can be seen at:

D200 lot is pending sale. The rest is still available!!!!!!!!!!

*****Sale Pending ***** I need to sell my Nikon D200 with MB-D200, and 2 EN-EL3 Nikon Batteries for $1000 +shipping. The camera has a 13659+/- shutter count. It is a great camera but I cannot afford to maintain 2 systems. The PC sync port cover is missing but should be easy to replace. The MB-D200 has one battery clip that has broke off but does not effect the function at all. Other than that the entire set is in great shape and free from all but minor surface scratches. The LCD is scratch free and I have used protectors on the protector so it is in great shape as well. I bought the D200 in January of 2006, the second battery and MB-D200 came a few months later. I would like to keep this as a lot if possible. New from B&H the D200 is $1339, the MB-D200 is $169, the extra battery is $39 for a total of $1547. ***** Sale Pending*****

*****Sale Pending*****I have a 18-70 f3.5-4.5G ED-IF. It is a great little lens. The lens elements are scratch and oil free as far as I can tell. I have only had a it a few months. I would like to get $240 +shipping out of it. New it is $309.****Sale Pending*****

*****Sale Pending***** I have an SB-800. It has probably less than 2,500 firings on it. I shoot mostly available light and rarely used it. I picked it up around April 06. I would like to get $225 +shipping from it. New it is also ~$309 *****Sale Pending*****

*****sale Pending*****I have an SC-29 off camera TTL shoe cord for use with flash bracket type set ups. This thing is pretty hard to get a hold of. B&H is frequently out of stock. It has the IR emmiter on the front for focus assist. It is like new and only used 2 times for a few hundred shots. I would like to get $65 +shipping out of it. New it is ~$75

All of the above include the original accessories, boxes, papers, and packing materials. (I am a packrat) The only thing missing from the papers is the items required for rebate or warranty submissions. I am willing to assist with warranty returns if anything goes wrong during the warranty periods if they are still in effect. anyone that knows me can tell you that I really take care of my gear. I am almost anal about it. If it is not being used it stays in the bag.

I have a 100% 31 rating on ebay and have had several great dealings on Dgrin. Please feel free to ask questions. If the items do not sell here, they are going up on ebay in a few days. I take Paypal and depending on the user, I might be willing to take a check/MO. I am not really interested in overseas shipping but there are a few users here that I will be willing to work with if needed.

To answer the biggest question that I know will be asked... Why am I selling this? I made the choice to switch to Canon for multiple reasons. 1 was local availablity of Canon vs Nikon gear, 2 was the low light capability of the 5d. Please do not get me wrong, I love Nikon and they have great equipment. This is great gear, I just cannot afford to hold onto it.

:cry Another one bites the dust.

Actually, it'd be :D if I could swing the D200 and upgrade myself. That's a swingin' deal Doc, someone snap it up before I start getting creative...

I have edited to make a note that there is a pending buyer on the D200 lot. The rest is still available.

The cool thing is that Kres is not to far from me. So I will actually get to meet another Dgrinner in person.

hah, another D200 user comes over to the darkside eh? I myself just made the switch from a D200 to a 5D just a couple of weeks ago. So far, no regrets whatsoever, VERY glad i made the switch. Enjoy the switch :D

Alright now.... Don't screw up my sale :wink

Yes, I am happy that I made the switch. There is nothing bad about Nikon or any other of the big company cameras. It is just a matter of what is right for the shooter. Nikon just did not have what I wanted. Full frame and great low light ISO resolution is the deal for me and I love it. I have already scored some major keepers due to the 5d. But at the same time I have a gallery full of D200 photos that are wonderful.

One of my D200 photos has made it big getting published. I am waiting on it to be publicly released by the purchasing organization and then I will post about it. I am very proud of the sale as it is a cover photo and I am very happy to help out a noble cause. Stay tuned for more :-)

haha, right right, well the D200 is a great camera nonetheless, i wished i had been able to keep mine as well, but, well, i just can't afford it. The reasons i switched were exactly the same, full frame and great high ISO performance. Congrats on getting a cover shot published though, that's awesome :D
good luck with the sale anyways, shouldn't last too long, somebody will snap up that great camera.
