I like them both, and I liked the first one when I saw it in the challenge: it wasn't hands, smile. And it was a nice shot.

But the second one has something else, a little OOOMPH, I think. I can just imagine that water, and here it would be cold and "bad", I can just feel my soul getting ready for the two to come together.

I guess I really like the way your toes look like they are not going along with this willingly.

But what really killed me when I first saw the darn thing was how nice it was/is, and you keep saying you can't do......................anything, and you have no equipment..........no knowledge............etc.

I'd say number 2 is the better composition with the way the legs lead into the frame and the swirl of the water takes you around the picture. It is also a little closer to "from your eyes" point of view. Technically, its a good shot too. Nice light, good focus etc. Very nice shot.

I had to do feet ginger...my hands look like crab claws.

I even had to photoshop what i could of the 25 years of motorbike scars from the legs :D That right calf was sewn back on once.

I'm a little late with my input, but I agree with everyone else. #2 is the better shot. I love all the movement.
