Help - Reasonable&Customary Photographer rates/fees?

I'll try to keep this brief ... background:
I've done some professional event photography work in
the past (though not in recent years, and never on a T&M basis)
I now have a digital SLR
I have been approached by someone who photographs events
using equipment compatible with mine, whether I'd like to work
for them as an additional photographer on occasion ... presumably
on a "time & materials" basis
They asked what my rates are

So here's the question:
Does anyone know (or have a good suggestion for finding out)
what the R&C ("reasonable & customary") fees are for photography work,
esp in the CA SF Bay area?
