We spent the Thanksgiving week on Sanibel Is. With good advice from members here :bow I took advantage of the low tides, mornings and afternoons at Ding. The first few days were cold and windy. The birds were keeping close to the mangrove and out of the wind...mainly beyond the reach of my lens :rolleyes What I was able to get wasn't spectacular by any stretch, there always seemed to be backlighting or it was grey and dull, but overall I was satisfied. Learnt a few things that should help me next time. Spent plenty of time talking to the guides who seemed to outnumber the visitors most days I was there; even they were apologizing for the lack of activity.
Not a bird but I was able to get close to this gator
