How do I make my web address the main place to send my clients but be linked/sent to smugmug? Do I make sense?

It depends. Are you keeping your existing website? If so you can have a link on your website that directs people to your SmugMug site. If your website is www.domain.com then your smug site can be photos.domain.com no problemo.
