Following Tutorial....something not working.....

Hi!! I've been following along with the tutorial to do the navigation bar (got that working) got my banner (that works) and then did the one so that the category/gallery page doesn't show.....that worked.

trouble: the gallery link on the nav bar takes me to the smugmug front page? I did/do have my gallery 'box' set up as categories instead of galleries...would that have made a difference?

ok, so what did I do wrong? I remove all the coding for now, so will have to go put it all back in. I didn't do the slide show at the time, should I have?

Help would be appreciated.

for anyone to troubleshoot you need the code incorporated.

You skipped a few steps in the tutorial, do The Galleries Page I through The Galleries Page III and you should be good :thumb

yep that got rid of it...... can I keep part of it though........I like the category and gallery parts of it, just the nickname part gone :dunno
