Hi everyone:

This message is really intended for Andy, the House Pro. As mentioned in one of the links from the Wiki about true vs. auto color, you mention to have you check a few shots to see which should be used.

Could you take a look at:

www.brickstreetphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/2150479 (http://www.brickstreetphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/2150479)

These were shot in jpg, levels corrected and sharpened slightly. I didn't want to completely "fill in" the right side of the histogram, because they looked (on my uncalibrated monitor) too light. I'm going to place an order for about 60 of these, and wanted your opinion on true or auto.

I've unprotected the gallery in case you needed to download anything. Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks,

Scott

These are fine, it's actually a good example of how our Auto Color at the Lab, will raise the shadows juuuust enough, and keep the colors accurate (yours were accurate).

Have a look here: http://brickstreetphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/2184721

So, while you can send them true, I think they'll print better at Auto :deal
