Had this lens since June of 2006. Now looking to sell this favorite lens of mine and move up to a lens with IS.

Obviously: the 2.8 !!! :thumbThat's what I was thinking, but selling the f/4 so I thought upgrade might be to just the IS version of the f/4 lens - it was a possibility. I recently got the 2.8 IS - love it.

Well ideally i'd move up to one of Canon's best lenses 70-200 F2.8 IS. But i don't know if thats affordable. I haven't researched prices. I don't plan on getting an IS until I need to shoot outdoor sports again. Which require youth sports teams to start again until it gets warmer in the spring.

Ideally spending 1400 for the 70-200 F2.8 IS would be great. I think i've seen a couple for that price on some forums.

If one of you are willing to sell it to me for that price or cheaper (at mint condition) that'd be great. :)

haha. Thanks for the bumps guys. Now help me find a buyer so I can sell this beautiful thing and get a even more awesome lens!
