Awesome! I just upgraded to a 30D and my 1GB card is not cutting it anymore. These cards are $90 here in Canada. :barb Guess it helps to have friends in the US coming home for the holidays so I can ship to them though.

The price that was charged to my CC was the $39.95 * 3 = ~$125.00 (after s/h). IIRC, there is/was a coupon number on the first screen that you were obligated to enter into the ordering screen. Once that was applied, the effective price was the $39.95.

So, based on that, I don't think delivery date is an issue - just order date.

Maybe check with our CC bank to see if the charge has been made? On my statement (I have access to it on-line), the charging company appears as "STAPLES DIRECT00209908".

Well, I tried the Staples online thing yesterday and everything was cool but then when I went to place the order it made me register for a "free" account with Staples. The "free" account, though, included a survey about how many employees work at my company, etc, etc. By the time I was done filling out the survey, er, "free" account, I got a screen telling me the 2GB cards were "out-of-stock". It may be a good deal, but that whole process left a bad-taste in my mouth about Staples.

Just an update on the dealings with Fry's dot com. I ordered two 2gb Sandisk CF cards on 11/27. Recieved confirmation that they were in stock and to ship.

Then got word that they were out of stock for a week or so........

Cancelled my order today - no word as to when they might be back in stock. My guess is that after the holidaies, 2gb for $39.99 will be the standard price.......

I doubt that I will use Fry's again. They have nice stores, but the service and speed of notifications about order status lack a bit....I am happy with B&H and they will get my biz if close in price.
