Yeah I found my friend a kit lens and a body. She's enjoying them a lot. Thanks for the input, I've been trying to squeeze a few shots for the challenge while I'm working, but most shots weren't coming out too well haha. I got another night to work on it so maybe I can pull another frame or two out.

I'm glad she likes it! I do like the idea for your image -- I wonder if you can somehow get more backlight to get more of a silhouette? Maybe try getting down low and using those lights? I look forward to seeing what you come up with! -Kate
