Canon 70-200mm + Kenko Tube (x2 images)

Today after a crappy day at work......... my gosh the dang phone never stopped ringing I tell you :dunno

So I figured I'd go down the backyard and see how the fruit trees are going........ the sun is lower in the sky as its almost 7pm,
but it's still very light out there.

I noticed how beautifully the sun was hitting some of the tiny newer leaves that still look like Autumn colours,
and were down lower to the fence.

The second image is from the same Apricot tree, with the sun back lighting the green leaf.

There is no flash used in this shot, the light is natural, I boosted the contrast and curves a little.

The Kenko's work well with the larger lenses, I was about 10 inches away from these leaves,

I think the 1.st photo is good for the Silhouette Challenge !
It is very nice. And so is the 2.ed one. I do have similar photo...
This has been a nice been way to get away for some moments, from the work. :D

Thank you Antonio ...... I was just trying this set up out, as I read in a thread over at Fred Miranders that you can use Kenko Tubes with the larger lens to increase your focusing ability to allow you to do Macro and Close-up work in distances less than 1ft as I have found so far. :D

Hi Awais........ yes I love Apricots too, wont get many this year I cut the tree right back, there's quite a few on it so I'm happy with what I will get this year......it has very pretty leaves.....thanks for looking :D

Thanks Thusie......... the fruit trees are along the back fence, so I got down on my knees and shot upwards the dark background is the fence.

Both shots are from the same tree, the green one just doesn't have the fence in the background.
