hey now

i like this idea. movement, bw, the high contrast sort of works. i betcha you can do better, even!

i wasn't thinking self-portraits, just so everyone knows - but this idea is just what i was thinking about.

I like it, and just when I was going to eat some more pie, last night here.

I do like it, really, don't know how you can do better. Maybe it is the start of greatness.

But but but doesn't it have to be from your own eye's point of view? (Maybe via a mirror?)

Hummm, great idea, I wonder if the left is a little to flat, or maybe more contrast?

Man I really need to get some ideas here...I may have one, time will tell :-) So how do you get a 4 year old to stand still for a long exposure???? Oh I think I got me an idea. :-) THANKS Lynn!

Hiya Lynn :wave

Good shot... definitely does not look flat to me. My only complaint is the light area along the right edge of the picture. For some reason it grabs my eye.

You're a beautician too?? I never knew. Are there some water spots on your scissors???? --------------------------------------- Gotcha didn't I??!!
:rofl :rofl

Joking aside I think this is a very good idea Lynn, and one that is useable for many of us - that is a first person of us at work in some task.

The bubbles in the water are great!!! It is hard to say which is better, they are two totally different subjects, but I think I like this one a little more :clap

Lynn, you make everything edible look good. I don't even like oranges. I do like water, but yours, well, I would Looove it.

Incidentally, I love the way you are doing your nails.:rofl Understated, but very nice.

I definately like the orange shot the best. It really catches the eye. Awsome!thanks.. this is so funny... husband of lynnma says "I like it, but you can do better, shoot it again" ..so I says.. I can't, I've eaten all the clemantines.. he just walked in with another box full.. is that sweet? or what...:D

judyfuess
Jan-02-2005, 09:37 AM
what a great husband!!!!! I again like both shots. I love the color that you captured in the water shot, but the one with the orange has that really soft feel. I thinkthat I am going to go with everybody else, the orange. It seems to tell more of a story.

I like this one for the sentiment. Of course I hate holiday themes, but this is timely enough...........

The oranges are great, remember I don't even like them, I would have said to go with them til I saw this. I think if you can grab the hearts here, you have the winner.

That is just my opinion..........obviously.

ginger (I would go with this now, unless.......................)

ginger (I would go with this now, unless.......................)thanks ginge.. and just to clarify.. yes it's cut and paste and I'm at least 20lbs overweight.. hence the working out...:rofl which reminds me.. I need to get off my fat duff and get on the bloody treadmill...
p.s. I redid the "oranges" please let me know what you think..

I gotta tell ya Lynn you are getting some great stuff in this challenge. It seems to have inspired you. Good luck picking just one to enter.

I really like the lighting effect on the shears, nice shot. The orange slices are the best.

Was the plate blue yesterday, the one with the oranges?

That is a decision I would not want to make. Pushed to the wall, I think I liked the blue one, but it may be just because it was the first one I saw.

You are on a roll, Lynn. (I don't mean the treadmill. You kind of have this challenge in your hands, so to speak.:rofl )

Lynn, great work! I especially like the oranges, must be how you handled the color/desat that really makes it pop.

I just looked at the Challenge thread, thought it might simplify things. Lynn, haha, did you know that your workout thing goes with the oranges.

That is really cool. You gotta go with the oranges now, and keep the workout thing going til the challenge is over, same colors.

ginger

Hey, you know I have no idea how you are doing this. Sometime when you are bored would you or Pathfinder tell me how you have the camera and (light?) set so you can use both hands.

I might want to know sometime.

(In the meantime, keep lifting that weight!)
