Well, you certainly don't have to wonder why they'd want to live there; it's beautiful!

I especially like 1, 3 and 5. The sky in 2 is wonderfully blue!

Thank for posting, as usual!

Okay- you have me scratching my head. I have never heard of these dwellings before. The lake shots are from Apache or Roosevelt lake?

You got some really nice shots here! Good job!

Please give me the directions of how to get to these dwellings- I love driving Hwy 88 through the canyon. One of the only dirt hwy's in the US.

It's the Tonto Nat'l Monument near Rosevelt Lake. These are the upper cliff dwellings, which a permit and guide is needed. The lake in the background is Rosevelt.

We went up 87, then south on 188, the a few miles south of the turn off to the Apache Trail. On the way home, we took the Apache Trail.

Great Captures in some very difficult light! I like what you did with the riverbed shot, right into the sun!!! Great job! :bow " We're not worthy"

Thanks, Shawn. I'm sure you'll have some great shots as well - can't wait to see them!
