This is my second season shooting High School Basketball, this photo was taken friday night 11-17-06. While I dont feel basketball is my strongest sport to shoot, I feel this is a very good shot. However I want ya'lls opinions please. Lens used was the canon 70-200f/2.8L

1) I had trouble deciding on a crop. How can I make this a stronger image? how would you crop it?

2) This is croped as an 8x10, and ran thru Noise Ninja

Any comments or critique is welcomed.

I am not expert that's for sure but I would tighten it up and get rid of the
right side and some of the top of the image.

It's an excellent shot.

I'd crop it tight. All of him, then cut-off the opponent where #3's shoes end. You don't need the opponent's complete body. I'd try that crop with, and without, the net in it, see which felt better.

Thanks Capt, yes I knew it needed to be tighter but something to me just didnt seem right.

Wxwax, I had considered that originally, but decided on keeping the net in view, I'll try the other crops aswell and see it it looks any better to me tonight. I'll try to post the new ones tonight.

Thanks for your insight,
