whooo-eeee.
It sure was storming last night.
I thought about snapping a shot this morning, to show all those snow-birds what they're missing in "sunny" socal, but you know, the morning routine got in the way.

yeah.. In addition to that, my house (and the whole community) lost the power last nite - and it's not back yet:cry
And on top of that they say it's gonna be worse until next Wednesday - not only more rain, but far more cold, etc..

But if that were my pool, Nikolai - The umbrella would never have sunk through the 6 inches of ice on the surface.

Glad you're safe.
Earlier this season there was a hefty windstorm where I live and our backyard patio cover lifted and landed in the neighbor's yard. Sorry to say I didn't grab any photos. *Sigh* So, yeah, your pictures bring back memories.
