I was wondering...can a smug mug page be designed with programs such as Macromedia Fireworks and Dreamweaver? Once it's designed in that software, then can the code be inserted into the correct place under the smugmug customization? I have more experience with using software such as those two and I'm thinking that if it will work, then I could design my page the way I want it in there and use the code generated to get my smugmug page the way I want it. The coding just isn't sinking in and I can't get but so custom with having so much trouble trying to learn it. My goal was to try out smugmug for a year to see if I liked it. I like it but it's very difficult for me to understand the tutorials and all the stuff involved in coding for the custom look. I've seen amazing pages around smugmug and I want to be a part of it. So far, my page is very basic and uninteresting to me. Any ideas?

I personally would not recommend anyone doing their designing in in DW, or similar. Plus, there's plenty of people, me included, who can help you customize your site the way you want it. It will give you more problems doing it in DW i think...
