Hello,

I frequently post pictures on a forum using the SmugMug link function.
When i do so people of course see the pic but they can also see the link like:

http://nickname.smugmug.com/photos/XXXXXXXXX-L.jpg

Therefore, I have have placed a password on my entire website, because i don't want people from the forum to get full access at my website.
Is there a way to link a photo without displaying the "nickname.smugmug.com" in it. If there is, i could remove the password, which i would prefer.

Kind regards,
armani

If you have put something on the Internet, people can find it.

With that said, you can try http://tinyurl.com/

They basically change the name of the link. If might help in this case.

armaniHi Armani,

You can replace your nickname in the URL for anything you want, including www

this:
http://nickname.smugmug.com/photos/XXXXXXXXX-L.jpg

and:
http://www.smugmug.com/photos/XXXXXXXXX-L.jpg (http://nickname.smugmug.com/photos/XXXXXXXXX-L.jpg)

will do the same :thumb
