Visitors observe the world famous jellyfish exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
I read the rules and as this shot was taken a few months ago and cropped a bit I will post only for critiquing :-)

Very nice...You have to post that one.
But I live too far from the Aquarium to go try to capture it :-)

Isn't it frustrating if you know you have the right shot but it has not been taken in the right time frame???
Too sad... Love your jelly fish. They look alien. Nice colors. I like it that the water is blue-ish and the people silhouetted. Great snap:wink

Yeah, I do too:

but then if there wasnt this rule everybody would just pull out his
best shot from way back when, and not go out and take photographs.
also newbies without a huge database would be almost chanceless.

Yeah, I do too:
wow, I really love this image. The perforated wall -or whatever it is- provides some fantastic texture here. Very nice!

Right, i would be submitting this one, that I took during the "system" challenge period....:cry And yeah, i thought there used to be a thread called "ineligible entries" i guess this thread is becoming that!!

Thanks. And no enhancement were made other than the crop (no saturation or contrast etc), surprisingly.
I like that shot with the grated/screen look too.

I really like it but would prefer a tighter shot closer up to get more details on the fish themselves. great pic!
