Went to the Griffith Observatory on Saturday with the LA Shooters. It's been closed since I moved to LA, and I was looking forward to it.

Made it up there for the sunset, which was pretty good by LA standards (that means there were some clouds)

The sun went down and the city lights came up. Everyone enjoyed.

The Telescope Domes opened up to reveal the heavens... well, what little is left in SoCal.

Looks like Christmas is coming... No please wait until *after* Thanksgiving!

Wider Pano Here (http://chrisandjoy.smugmug.com/photos/110201903-O.jpg).

I'll definitely be coming back.

Hope you enjoyed my little tour. I never actually went inside! Always leave something for next time (and it was *very* crowded).

Thanks Tom. Wasn't going for it, but that's how it turned out.

FYI, The big pano was taken with the 70-200 @ 130 I think.

Cool!

I just joined LA Shooters. You probably saw my first posts there. Looking forward to getting out shooting with y'all.

on the 5th shot, consider turning down the temp on the wb to make the sky less brown and more black/blue.
