How to... watermarks

Hi there,
Just started with a site here but I have a small problem. I follow the directions but I still can't get my watermark onto my photos. Is there a trick to it? I have uploaded the png watermark that I made, followed the instructions but when I get back to my gallery I can't get it to show on the pics. :dunno
Another thing, When an image is viewed at full size, even the generic 'PROOF' watermark does not show so I have no image protection.

Another thing, When an image is viewed at full size, even the generic 'PROOF' watermark does not show so I have no image protection.Correct, see this help page: http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-watermark-protection

Gotcha: Block access (http://www.smugmug.com/help/image-protection) to your originals. We don't watermark originals because we use them to make prints.
