Hi again friends!
First of all, I have to clap my hands for you nature/wildlife/bird photographers! You people do rock, and one can notice that when he tries to do some of your stuff!
Today was my turn: I did some trees, landscapes, big skies and even birds, take a look!
Some berries:

The Mango is great!! The DOF is stunning! I might have added a tad of extra saturation in post, but that is just taste :wink so, what nice Nikon lens can produce that nice soft bokeh??
Thanks for sharing!

Gotta love that mango shot. My family has plantations of it in the Philippines. Yup, these shots bring back memories. Thanks for sharing!

não há de quê! :-)
The ones you picked out are also my favourite from the bunch... along with the mango (because it's so delicious -- and it's all about the food)!
Thanks for your very kind words!

Thanks a lot, my friend!
I really had a lot of fun shooting those, and I guess that's what's important! I will certainly make more attempts at nature shots in the future!

perhaps some extra saturation would be fine, thanks for the tip! :-)
About the lens... well, you might not believe, but the lens responsible for the nice soft bokeh on the mango shot is the D70 kit lens! That is, the cheap 18-70 f/3.5-4.5 DX zoom. It holds up very well against the big pro lenses, in terms of image quality (sharpness and bokeh) and AF speed (it is an AF-S, the equivalent of Canon's ring USM). I used this lens to capture the mango because of its short focusing distance at 70mm, which is only 38cm. All in all, a very cool lens! :-)
Thanks so much for your kind words and all the attention!

Thanks for the kindest words and great support!
If I were you, I'd never "hang it up", as you said. Shots like the ones from your West Virginia gallery, and the more recent bird shots, have left me drooling! That's excellent work!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

About the mango, did I tell you I love the fruit? It's one of the niceties from my tropical country!
Thanks so much for your warm response!
