remove a photo from "popular"

Hey smarties, this was asked over on our sister site, Advrider.com:

I have a few pictures that have ended up in my favourite pictures and I can't get rid of them. I have opened them and clicked on the red thumbs down and still they remain.

Short of deleting the pictures, how can I make them go away?

Rotate it left then right. Or replace the photo. Will reset the thumbs to zero :)
