In the bright lights, glitz and glamour of Sydney Motor show my regular street photography has been put to a secondary plane. Beautiful fashion (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/2006/10/31/carla-zampatti-fashion-at-the-motor-show/) models (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/2006/10/29/australian-international-motor-show-girls-and-fashion/) and fantastic machines (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/2006/10/30/australian-international-motor-show-cars/) were the order of the day this week.
However, I have not forgotten the Sydney streets and here are two candids I managed to capture during the week. Both photographs would fall into a situational composition category.
Firstly there is a woman having a telephone conversation (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/v/People/Street+Photography/I-dress-I-care-IMG_8776.jpg.html) against a background of two posters, which seem to be part of that conversation.

Secondly we have a man enjoying his lunch (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/v/People/Street+Photography/Finger-IMG_8759.jpg.html) at Sydney Town Hall with his finger raised as if to warn me off. The size of the building is dwarfing his figure and yet it also provides support.
