My name is Tim, I am from the mid Michigan area. This is my first dgrin post. I have added a few things to my canon 20D and thought i's share this pic. This is our little girl, Miah. She just woke up and has some CRAZY hair!! I have just started using the flash and it is very new to me.

Okay, I can see it. She's so cute! If you used the flash on this you did a good job, 'cuz the light looks very natural. Just watch your focus as the shoulder of her PJs seems a little more in focus than her face. Nice first post!

Also, watch your skin tones, this shot was mighty heavy on the magenta, which would lead to a sunburnt kind of look. There's a great tutorial here (http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1091766), which would get you a result something like this:

Well, by the numbers, if you take out the green, you'll have too much magenta.
