Nanay worries about her buffalo a lot. When Arceli invited her to meet me she agonised about whether to leave the buffalo at home alone and finally Arceli told her to choose the buffalo or Charles. This time when she came down off the mountain, she brought the buffalo with her. The difference in the land that can be plowed with a carabao or by hand is orders of magnitude and the carabao becomes one of the most important factors of life.
