Has been a while since I posted anything. so thought I would put up some new shots....well i am hoping they are new.
To start off just a couple of local drift competitors taking on the big boys from the main land.
Nick here made it to the top 8 out of 32 competitors.

All three are winners for me and for different reasons. :thumb
I saw the movie _Tokyo Drift_ this year. Actually not bad for the genre. But I think I would have liked a documentary more. The setting at least made it more interesting.
Good work. :D

Hi there DB,
Beau was definately on song during this pass, almost ended up 90 degrees across the track and then just flicked the rear end around to negotiate the next left hander.

Evening Saxon,
I havn't actually seen any of the Tokyo drift movies as yet. I have enjoyed covering these events so far (not quite as much as the circuit racing though :D)

Thanks Sid,
I was more than happy with this shot myself. These guys have no fear when it comes to corners and high speed.
Wow mate...# 3 is on the money !

David,
I'm not into motorsports - just too busy shooting humans.
Having said that - the third shot is fantastic. sharp, nice blur and very different from the standard shots. Really caught my eye!
What equipment were you using (always curious about what equipment is used for sports I don't cover - some day I may want to try it so I like to keep up).

Hi there john,
Glad you liked the shot. I was using the Canon 30D and Sigma 50-500 for this shot. I was standing up against the armco at pit exit for this shot and he went part approx 5-10 meters (15-30ft) away.
